E-Participation Guideline

Majlis Daerah Hulu Terengganu (MDHT) is committed to providing online e-participation channels that allow the public to submit views, feedback and suggestions online. This guideline explains the channels provided and how they are handled.

E-Participation Channels

• Homepage Poll — a short opinion survey on current issues/services, displayed on the portal homepage.
• Contact Us Form — a channel for submitting detailed enquiries, complaints, suggestions or feedback.

How to Participate

Poll: Participation is anonymous — no personal information is required to vote. Each browser session is limited to one vote per poll to prevent result manipulation. Results are shown as percentages immediately after voting.

Contact Us Form: Users must provide a name, email and message so MDHT can respond. This information is used solely for the purpose of responding and is not shared with third parties.

Use of Feedback

Poll results and messages received are used to help MDHT understand public needs and views, and as input for planning and service improvement. Poll data is displayed in aggregate (totals/percentages) only and is not linked to any individual.

Data Protection

Any personal information collected through these e-participation channels is handled in accordance with MDHT's Privacy Policy.
